A trek through Rila and Pirin National Parks
Experience the magic of southern Bulgaria’s mountains — a land of crystal-clear lakes, dramatic peaks, and centuries-old monasteries. This unforgettable hiking journey combines two of the country’s most spectacular national parks, Rila and Pirin, offering the very best of Bulgaria’s nature and culture.
Where Mountains, Lakes & History Meet
Our adventure leads through rolling valleys, alpine meadows, and rugged mountain passes.
In Rila National Park, you’ll discover the famous Seven Rila Lakes, each with its own legend, and the Rila Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Bulgaria’s most revered spiritual landmarks.
In Pirin National Park, the scenery turns dramatic — with steep limestone peaks, glacier-fed lakes, and wild, untouched forests. The landscapes feel almost Alpine, yet uniquely Bulgarian.
Evenings are spent in cozy mountain lodges and welcoming hotels, where local food and warm hospitality await.
Designed for Active Nature Lovers.
This trip is ideal for hikers in good physical condition with some previous mountain experience.
Daily hikes last about 5–8 hours, depending on the terrain and elevation. You’ll carry only what you need for the day, allowing you to enjoy the trails light and free.
