Over five days, we’ll paddle 75 km through a chain of serene lakes and lively rivers—navigating around 40 class I–II rapids that add just the right touch of excitement.

About Hossa National Park
Established in 2017, Hossa is one of Finland’s youngest national parks, yet it feels timeless. With over 100 km of marked trails and a variety of canoe routes, the park is a playground for adventurers. Its waterways carve through some of the most scenic landscapes in the country, offering endless opportunities for discovery.

Canoe Trip Details

Five immersive days spent exploring different rivers, lakes, and varied landscapes.

• Daily Paddling
Expect 15–20 km (9–14 miles) of paddling each day—an ideal challenge for beginners and experienced paddlers alike.

• Campsites
Each night we stay at well-maintained wilderness campsites, complete with fire pits, picnic shelters, and simple toilet facilities. Evenings are spent around the fire, sharing stories under the endless northern sky.

Accommodation. Tent and two nights in a hotel.
Transportation. Participants will make their own way to Kuusamo in Finland which has good flight and train / bus connections to Helsinki. We will meet participants in Kuusamo.
Guide. Two guides.
Insurance. Participants are responsible for their own insurance. Travel insurance is recommended.
Included. Two guides. High quality canoe + equipment, all food during trip, tent, transfers, one hotel night in Kuusamo before the trip and one after the trip.
Not included: Travel to Kuusamo and food in Kuusamo, Insurance.
