Linnansaari national park. The national park represent lake nature at its best. Islands, lakes and diverse forest nature.
The trip is suitable for you with little previous experience in canoeing. During the trip, we will teach more paddling techniques and how to trim the canoe to suit the wind and conditions.
We spend the night in tents and in the evenings we learn the basic skills of camping (bushcraft). 1-2 hour lessons.
- Useful tools, knife, axe etc. Choosing the right tool, safety, efficient use and maintenance.
- Wood carving. Making useful tools.
- Fire, from spark to flame. How to be successful in lighting a fire under any circumstances. The uses and meaning of fire for the canoeist.
- Campfire kitchen. Cooking meals in simple ways over fire and embers.
- Fishing. Equipment, Cleaning and preparation of fish.
- Ethnobotany. Identifying useful plants.
Day trips are between 15-20 km.
Moln organizes all the equipment and food you only need your own personal equipment.
