Padjelanta / Badjelánnda National Park. Sweden. 23. - 31.7.2026.

Hiking in the Laponia wilderness
This wilderness is Europe's largest contiguous natural landscape. In 1996, Swedish Laponia was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It consists of four national parks and two nature reserves, offering an incredibly diverse experience.

Our hiking route:
Stáloluokta – Gájlávágge – Pieskahaure – Vájmok – Kvikkjokk

Nature and wildlife
One of Laponia's four national parks is Padjelanta (Badjelánnda in Sami), which borders Norway to the west. Our hiking route passes through this area, where vast fells and large lakes merge into a harmonious landscape. Thanks to the calcareous soil, even rarer plant species can be found in the fell meadows.

The wilderness is also home to endangered and rare Arctic animals such as the Arctic fox, snowy owl, and golden eagle, making hiking here a unique nature experience.

Learning opportunities
The trip is an excellent opportunity to practice hiking skills and learn new from our guide: orienteering, route selection, river crossing and other outdoor skills that you can also use on independent hikes.
