The Archipelago National Park and the island of Öro

On this kayaking trip we experience tsome of he most beautiful parts of Archipelago National Park.

Our destination Örö is one of the pearls of the region. The route takes us through some of most ruggedparts of outer archipelago among thousands of small and large islands. With good luck we can also see sea eagles during the trip.

The starting and ending point of the trip is Rosala Island, about three hours from Helsinki. From Rosala is just a short trip to the Archipelago National Park, which was established in 1983.

The trip is perfect for those who have already tried sea kayaking and want to paddle outside the most sheltered areas under safe guidance.

The Archipelago National Park offers so many options that no particular route option has been locked. We paddle for two days, 5 - 6 hours a day. This leaves us with a good time to set up camp, cook and enjoy nature.

At Rosala you can choose to eithr camp or book accomondation indoors. There is also a cozy restaurant thaat serves delicious local dishes.
