Archipelago Nationalpark expedition

Kasnäs to Islands of Örö, Vänö, sandö and back to kasnäs.

Archipelago National Park in south-western Finland offer open waters and a labyrinth of islands. The trip is suitable for those have already tried sea kayaking, and want to paddle outside the most sheltered areas with a guide. Get to know the outer Archipelago Nationalpark, and paddle around small and large islands, as well as countless rocky islets and coves.

On the trip, you can definitely observe the birds of the archipelago, with good luck you can see sea eagles circling above their territories. On the inhabited islands you can admire Finland's oldest traditional landscapes. Some islands have signposted nature trails. The archipelago also has a rich fauna. With good luck we might encounter one of the gray seals.

The trip lasts four days in total. The length of the daily paddling route is about 15-20 kilometers, which means that we paddle about 5-8 hours during the day. After the paddling part of the day, we set up our tents and set up camp. After preparing dinner and eating, there is plenty of time to rest and/or get to know the nature of the island.
